Keyboard Layout

The following figures show the keyboard layout in the X family handheld devices. The Keyboard Editor will only list the keys available in the HMI model you selected in the project configuration. Using this mapping you can easily assign actions to each key.

Device Property Publisher

Using the Device Property Publisher module the status of each key of the Handheld device can be available on the Base Station device.

1. Install the "Device Property Publisher" module (see "Device Property Publisher")

2. Add a tag of type uint64 that point to the Holding Register with address 400007

   

The status of each key of the Wireless Handheld device will be available inside the uint64 tag as for the below table
